I haven't yet used the word in a conversation, as it seems to be odd when said out loud, but it's an interesting word to know!
John left early this morning for his 30th birthday guys' snowboarding weekend. They all met in West Virginia today and will enjoy the "winter" weather and beer :) In his absence, one of my best friends from college is coming to spend the weekend with me! Valerie and I were suite-mates our freshmen year at University of Central Florida. There is a group of 4 of us that have stayed best friends now for over 10 years. (I'm a lucky girl to have such wonderful friends.)
Today's resolution was to spend the day out of the house. I had two bootcamps to teach today, so I packed the kid up after breakfast and headed to the park early. We played together before class started, and then I taught a fun group of pregnant mamas. We enjoyed a picnic afterward and then I taught a hot-mamas' mommy-n-me bootcamp. We headed to the grocery store to pick up some yummies for our fun weekend (wine, some things to make valentine's cookies, popcorn, you know... the necessities when a friend comes to town). By the time we made it home, both kids were asleep in the car so I grabbed my book and turned the car off and sat with them and read a chapter!
The crockpot is almost done cooking a delicious whole chicken that we are going to use for chicken caesar salads tonight and chicken black bean burritos tomorrow night. :) It's about 6pm and Valerie should be here in 45 minutes. Both kids are still napping and I might just pour myself a glass of wine!
Tomorrow's resolution: Have a picnic in a park.
