Mommy's "Boobie Juice" is the best! I basically produce cream. Scarlett was quite the chunker in her infant days too, but Emmett just drops jaws. He weighed in at 21lbs 14oz at his 6 month appointment! That's the amount of weight I GAINED while pregnant! haha. I cannot believe he is so chunky. I just want to gobble him up. He is the weight now that Scarlett was at 18 months old. :) Mama's Milk does good!
Let's just say that for Mommy-n-Me Bootcamp, my ergo (the best baby carrier ever for such a chunky monkey) is FULL - and I have a 22lb weight motivating my butt to get into shape! Every ounce he gains is another ounce I'm working out with!
I have 5 weeks-ish until the Mud Run I registered for. I have long since been a runner, but have had back issues that have prevented me from distance running anymore. This race is just a 10k, but it's an obstacle and mud run! It's on my bucket list and can't wait to accomplish it! I'm pretty sure that training by pushing a double jogger with a 22lb and a 27lb baby in it, I'll be ready! :)
Today's resolution was: Research and Discuss School Options for Scarlett.
This resolution was pulled at the right time, as registration opened today at the preschool we decided upon. Well, I should back track. I did not want ANY preschool and still am not sold on school in general. I was leaning toward homeschooling, but did have a part of me that wanted the school atmosphere. John however, is 100% adamant about school. We came to the agreement that Montessori would be best for our family. So the research began there. The Montessori preschools were absurdly priced and above our budget. Again, I did not want to do preschool at all and thought we could just wait and go to pre-k. Well, after learning that the Montessori pre-k is a regular school day (8:30-3) 5 days a week, I reconsidered the idea of part-time preschool just to stair step her into pre-k. So that is the plan. Scarlett starts preschool next September. Three days a week, three hours a day. I'm going to be emotional, but she'll be happy. I still cannot believe that I just signed her up for SCHOOL. I can't believe that she is 2 1/2 years old! I think she'll always be my little 6lb 8 oz baby girl.
Tomorrow's Resolution: Celebrate Something FUN!
