Happy New Year 2012!

I hope that everyone rang the new year in with style!  We enjoyed a delicious BBQ of oysters (slimy, gross little creatures in my opinion, but John loves them) and steaks.  The steaks were grilled to perfection.  You will soon learn just how amazing of a BBQ man my husband is.  Throughout this journey, there are many food resolutions - so your mouths may water a bit.  :)


After dinner at the grill by the marina (with friends - Hi Mandi!), we all headed home for jammies and our homemade New Year's hats.  Scarlett glittered them and helped tape them together, and I was surprised at how proud John was to put his on!  Such a great Daddy, that John is.  We took a family picture to kick off our "Resolution Journey" and proceeded to watch the ball drop in bed together.  John and Emmett fell asleep at 11:55pm - Party Poopers - and had to be woken up for a midnight kiss.  No worries though: Scarlett provided my last kiss of 2011 at 11:59pm.  Cheers to a wonderfully blessed new year!  Let's get this journey started!
